Luc Godefroid



SVP Steel Ropes

Luc Godefroid joined the Bekaert Group in 2017.  He was responsible for implementing the global BCE (Bekaert Customer Excellence) program in Bekaert.
In 2018 he was assigned as Chief Sales & Marketing Officer for the Bridon-Bekaert Ropes Group and is part of the BBRG Executive Leadership Team. In 2023 he was promoted to Senior Vice President Steel Ropes.

Prior to joining Bekaert, Luc has taken up several international sales functions at Henkel.  Amongst other functions, he was 3 years expat in the US as Senior Director & 3 years in China as Corporate Vice President & Global Head of Sales Electronics (Adhesives).

Luc holds a bachelor in Languages from PIHO in Gent – Belgium.
