The 39th German Steel Construction Day will live up to its high standards of interdisciplinary in 2018: the program includes selected, up-to-date lectures for all parties involved in the entire process chain, which cooperate with steel during construction, as well as plenty of space for networking and personal exchange with decision-makers and experts. The award of the German Steel Construction 2018 for a deserving personality and the subsequent evening event form the communicative conclusion of the first day until late into the night.
For the fifth time now, we are organizing the Steel Architecture Day on the second day of the event. Inspiring contributions by renowned national and international architects are just as much a part of the program as the awarding of the German Steel Construction Prize 2018, the Special Award of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB) for Sustainable Steel Architecture and the Förderpreis der Deutschen Stahlbau 2018 and the new "DASt Research Award".
