Rope Driven Conveyor

Method of moving material long distances from ore body to mine processing plant via use of a Rope Driven Conveyor.
The rope driven conveyor relies on splicing the minimal amount of ropes per side to reduce the number of splices and keep running costs to a minimum. The system is usually a friction drive unit or a surge wheel drive mechanism so fatigue performance, wear and low elongation are the key rope attributes for lifetime performance.
