Full lock coil

Bridon-Bekaert's full locked coil rope designs, with up to 6 layers of shaped wires over a round strand wire core, have been proven in heavy duty cableways, both passenger and material, and high demanding cable crane applications. The full Locked Coil range is range is completed by Half Locked designs if required. In order to guarantee outstanding quality and reliability the manufacturing process starts with the selection of highest quality steel. The manufacture of wire, round or z-shaped, meet highest qualitative demands. Our unique devices allow a true preformation of the full Locked coil layers, giving the z-shaped wires almost that helix which it will have to take in the rope.
Technical data for the wires and the rope design are adapted precisely to each individual customer’s installation. Well-based and extensive knowledge is a requirement for manufacturing techniques and production methods, as well as technically advanced and innovative machinery.
The existing machinery allows going beyond the borders in regard to length and diameter requirements.
