Main hoist

The hoist ropes are used to raise and lower the grab during operations and generally operate on a single layer helically grooved drum. The ropes therefor need to have excellent bent fatigue performance and to achieve this, Bridon-Bekaert offer ropes which are filled internally with plastic and incorporating high performance lubrication to minimise wear and internal friction.
